The Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers is seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations with precision and purpose.
In this executive position, you will oversee all financial aspects of our organization and subsidiaries, ensuring fiscal responsibility, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial future and driving sustainable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive financial strategies in alignment with our mission and goals.Lead the annual budgeting process, providing strategic recommendations and forecasting financial performance.Manage contracts, grants, and agreements for our subsidiary organizations, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for executive management, the board of directors, and regulatory authorities.Optimize cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships to support organizational goals and initiatives.Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations, including tax filings and reporting requirements.Cultivate strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support fundraising efforts and organizational growth.Provide strong leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional development.QualificationsMaster's degree in accounting or finance, with an active CPA license.A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in non-profit healthcare organizations.Expertise in nonprofit accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting.Proven track record in managing state and federal grants, ideally with experience in HRSA grants.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.If you are a strategic thinker, adept leader, and passionate advocate for financial stewardship, we invite you to join us in our mission to build a healthier future for all.
