The Director of Human Resources for On Location contributes to the health and success of the organization by collaborating with leadership to identify, develop, and implement HR initiatives that meet business needs. The Director will act as a trusted HR partner to influence stakeholders, advise business leaders on employee relations, best practices, compensation, and benefits, while also advocating for employees and cultivating an inclusive workplace.Key Responsibilities
Function as a trusted adviser to assigned business unit and functional leadership.Advise the leadership team on HR strategy, personnel efficacy, and employee direction.Proactively diagnose inter-departmental challenges and develop strategies and solutions.Support development of organizational design for agility and business responsiveness.Act as change agent and develop innovative HR practices.Foster strong relationships across all shared services functions.Develop, implement, and oversee HR initiatives that attract and retain critical capabilities.Partner with the Recruiting team to provide an elevated hiring and onboarding experience.Ensure data-driven insights support decision-making.Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and maintain talent pipeline.Support On Location’s DEI initiatives.Maintain a healthy and vibrant culture promoting collaboration and engagement.Lead effective succession planning and advise on employee relations issues.Develop and implement procedures for hiring, terminations, and performance reviews.Maintain knowledge of relevant regulatory issues and coordinate compliance training.Investigate employee relations complaints or disputes.Assist in organizational workforce-planning informed by budget constraints.Identify candidates for key opportunities to achieve business strategies.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Management, or related field required.HR certifications a plus, including PHR, SHRM–CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP.Minimum of 8 - 10 years of Human Resources experience, focusing on strategic business partnership.Previous experience as HR Business Partner in the events, hospitality, or sports industry.Strong knowledge of employment/human resources laws and regulations.Skilled in Microsoft Excel and proficient in managing data.Experience using Workday or similar HRIS systems preferred.Competencies:Models professionalism, integrity, and leadership.Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and operate within constraints.Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships.Strong communication skills – both oral and written.Strong business mindset focused on leveraging knowledge in strategic decision-making.Ability to address challenging situations and motivate others.Exceptional problem-solver with analytical reasoning skills.Innovative thinker with the ability to generate creative solutions.Endeavor is an equal opportunities employer and encourages applications from suitably qualified candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, or religion.
