Create a detailed network design that is architecturally compliant, incorporates Agency standard networking components, meets cost and performance requirements, and adheres to all existing Agency and government regulations. Evaluate new network technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions. Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact.Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Capabilities

Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions.Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure.Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs.Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact.Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.Required Qualifications

TS/SCI with agency appropriate polyBachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered.Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.Able to obtain an IAT-I certification, such as: A+CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+CE, SSCPRequired Technical Skills

Strong Linux experienceExperience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.Experience setting up storage such as network‐attached storage.Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or CDesired Technical Skills

Experience deploying and maintaining nginxFamiliarity with Docker and RedHat SatelliteFamiliarity with cloud computing environments like AWSExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and GrafanaExperience with SELinux and FIPSThe Benefits Package
