Job Description
Position Overview: An employer in the San Diego, CA area is seeking a highly experienced Indirect Tax Analyst to join their team. This is a hybrid role that will transition to a mix of remote and in-office work after the employee is fully trained. The successful candidate will support the indirect tax team and bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the position.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee International Indirect Tax compliance.
Utilize Avalara Tax Compliance software for tax-related tasks.
Manage the ERP migration from SAP to an internal proprietary system.
Conduct GL Accounting Reconciliations and ensure proper documentation of the General Ledger.
Focus on Domestic US Sales tax, annual reports, and license receipts.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Indirect Tax.
Strong background in GL Accounting.
Experience with Avalara Tax Compliance software.
Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP. - CPA certification is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills. null
