To help us along this journey, Enterprise Operations is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Systems Engineer. We’re looking for somebody with passion and enthusiasm, as well as awareness for diversity, to enable IT development and business transformation.
System Engineers listen to customers’ perspectives and work with Architects, Analysts, and Developers to make requirements become a reality. As a member of the RMS IFF team, the successful candidate will be responsible for engagement with customers, project leaders, architects, and the development team. Other responsibilities include working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help administer necessary infrastructure components of the entire Thinaer solution.This role includes managing and maintaining AWS GovCloud Environments- including EC2, ECR, ECS, S3, RDS Databases and other services utilized by Thinaer.
System Engineers are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions and systems. Support of deployments at RMS sites is part of this job and travel is sometimes required but virtual work is mostly accepted.
They provide test area with parameters for sample testing and specify tests to be performed. They also compile data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, processes, or new testing requirements. They are responsible for both testing activities with customers and independently.Basic Qualifications:-Responding and providing frontline technical assistance to incidents and requests-Performing Code Upgrades, hotfixes and patches in test and Production-Monitoring application and infrastructure health, using AWS Services-Managing and Maintaining AWS GovCloud Environments- Test and Prod – Including EC2, ECR, ECS, S3, RDS Databases and other services-Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions that work for GovCloud.-Provide documentation to business stakeholders, training and support end-users for effective utilization of the software, Thinaer Sonar.-Planning, coordinating and executing implementations, deployments while collaborating with IT Security,-Oversee Procurement and Vendor Management-Identify cost-saving opportunities-Present at varying levels of management and with customersDesired Skills:-Agile and Jira/AgileHive experience-Confluence experienceClearance Level:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $94,500 - $178,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
