century and align all stakeholders - patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.JOB SUMMARYThe Network Engineer will be responsible for Network Design and Implementation which involves developing and implementing network architectures that align with organizational requirements. The position will require designing and deploying next-generation firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices. The Engineer will also be implementing and managing network virtualization solutions for optimal performance. Additionally, this role involves working on projects, addressing daily operational tasks, and providing on-call support as needed.You will:Security Implementation:

Design and enforce micro-segmentation strategies to enhance network security.Implement and maintain dark fiber solutions to secure sensitive data transmissions.Build and manage VPN tunnels to ensure secure communication across networks.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve network issues, including servers, workstations, switches, and firewalls.Conduct packet tracing and speed tests to identify and address performance bottlenecks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex network problems.

Bandwidth Management and Reporting:

Monitor and manage network bandwidth to optimize performance.Provide management with regular reports on network status, bandwidth usage, and security incidents.

Patching and Upgrades:

Perform patching and upgrades of network devices to ensure feature, firmware, and security compliance.Stay informed about the latest industry trends and security vulnerabilities to proactively address potential risks.

Cloud Networking:

Utilize expertise in GCP, Azure, and AWS networking to integrate cloud services seamlessly.Implement and manage network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments.

On-Call Support:

Provide on-call support for critical incidents and system outages.Collaborate with team members to resolve issues promptly.Document incident resolution processes for future reference.

Additional Tasks:

Undertake additional tasks as assigned, both between projects and during daily operations.Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance network capabilities.

If You Are:Communicates, cooperates, and consistently functions professionally and harmoniously with all levels of supervision, co-workers, patients, visitors, and vendors.Demonstrates initiative, personal awareness, professionalism and integrity, and exercises confidentiality in all areas of performance.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.2+ years of experience in network engineering and administration.Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent is highly desirable.Proficiency in network security principles and best practices.Strong knowledge of routing protocols, including BGP and OSPF.Experience with network virtualization technologies.Familiarity with dark fiber implementation and management.Proven expertise in firewall configuration and management.
