Information Security Officer (ISO)
are subject matter experts for business, functions and technology for all Information security activities including but not limited to oversight and management of the information security risk globally. The ISO will work closely with Business, Functions & Technology and the overall CISO community to oversee and monitor adherence with Citi IS Policy and Standards, manage risk and provide direct guidance on Information Security.ResponsibilitiesWork directly with business, functions and technology units and relevant stakeholders to facilitate and perform Citi’s IS risk assessment and risk management processes in order to protect information assets.Provide strategic risk guidance for business and technology projects including the evaluation and recommendation of security controls and corrective actions to mitigate or remediate risks.Manage security incidents and events to protect corporate IT assets including intellectual property, regulated data and the organization's reputation.Facilitate compliance with all Information Security policies standards, regulations, and directives as mandated by Global IS Organization.Provide oversight of Information Security Assessments across applications, infrastructure, and business process.Ensure non-compliant items are resolved through coordination with Business Manager and business staff.Participate and provide IS awareness training programs for employees, contractors and approved system users as needed.Qualifications5+ years' experience in Cybersecurity and Information Security Governance specifically focused on Risk Management, Risk Assessment, and identifying IS risk mitigation controls.Proficient in interpreting and applying policies, standards and procedures.Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.Fluency in English.Proven influencing and relationship management skills.Proven analytical skills.Experience working in the financial industry is a major plus.EducationBachelor’s degree/University degree and/or equivalent experience.Relevant certification on information security such as CISA, CISM, CRISC or CISSP.This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
