Join us.The Cloud Security Architect will report directly to the Director, Cloud Security and is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Greenway Health’s cloud security, application security, and Identity and Access Management Architectures. This will include working closely with the Product and Technology organization to identify and implement the needed security controls for our public and private cloud infrastructure. They will also be responsible for creating an enterprise Identity and access management architecture for Greenway associates, products, and services. Deep technical knowledge of DevSecOps and a good understanding of software development lifecycles are a must. In addition, deep technical knowledge of Identity management, which includes zero trust, FIDO 2, and other identity concepts, is required. The ideal candidate will have experience deploying solutions in a public cloud environment, a working knowledge of multiple programming languages, and a deep understanding of information security concepts. Experience with the HiTrust framework is a definite plus.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesConduct cloud security planning to determine and describe security necessitiesMaintain knowledge of diverse cloud platformsConduct infrastructure security planning, including firewalls, AppSec, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and scanners for detecting vulnerabilityDevelop security criteria, procedures, and policiesEstablish and manage data access controls and provide identity, authentication, and access management design and oversight (IAM)Integrate cloud-aware authentication mechanismsPerform application vulnerability assessments and evaluationsProvide guidance and oversight for the correction of discovered vulnerabilitiesProvide DevOps with security oversight and design guidance and oversee DevSecOps initiativesPerform security operations (SecOps) responsibilitiesIntegrate security into the development lifecycle of software (SDLC)Monitor system activities, logs, and alertsInstall and service security equipmentParticipate in the software development procedureProvide infrastructure supportProvide guidance on systems hardening for cyber resilienceEvaluate new security solutions and productsExplore new threats, attack methods, and techniquesUtilize security orchestration and response automation (SOAR)Experience and EducationHigh school diploma/GED requiredBachelor’s degree in cyber security, computer science, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Ten (10) + years of software development and information security experience required.Five (5) + years of public cloud experience required.Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or comparable certification preferred.Proven track record in the information security or technology space in highly regulated environments, a background in healthcare IT is a plus.Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesDemonstrates ability to achieve functional transformation, change management, and collaboration across multiple organizational levels.10+ years of experience with Cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft AzureExperience architecting Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure solutionsExperience evaluating, designing, implementing, optimizing, and documenting a comprehensive and extensive array of security technologies and processesKnowledge of enterprise application software (architecture, development, support, and troubleshooting)Experience performing threat modeling and design reviews to evaluate the introduction of new technologies’ security implications and requirementsCapacity to work in a team environment; excellent interpersonal and communication skillsCapability to work independently with minimal direction; initiative and motivation to work aloneWork Environment/Physical DemandsWhile at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workdayThis role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard the majority of the workdayThis position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as in-coming and out-going communications via the computer and/or mobile devicesMust be able to work remotely, manage workload efficiently, prioritize projects with minimal supervision, and maintain a quiet setting while working with customersThe role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associatesHere’s what we can offer you in exchange for your amazing work:Competitive payMedical, dental and vision benefitsMatching 401(k)Generous paid time-off programsGrowth potential for your careerAt Greenway, we strive to imagine, empower, engage, and inspire.
