TH Staff Associate/RN Case Manager
is a valuable member of our team, who provides administrative and/or clinical support and has the ability to interface with physicians, management and clerical staff throughout the hospital.Qualified candidates will demonstrate superior communication and organization skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence.Duties of a TH Staff Associate/RN Case Manager may include but are not limited to the following:Screen patients at ER and work with team to redirect to appropriate level of care including ER, Observation or Inpatient utilizing Milliman and Interqual criteria.Provides a safe, efficient environment that promotes patient/physician satisfaction and timely flow through.Identify high risk patients and collaborate with team to facilitate discharge plan disposition and provide community resources.Coordinate patient/family learning opportunities.Identifies trends and issues through data collection to ensure continuity of high quality patient care and utilization of service during the ED stay.Provide continuous high quality customer service.Qualifications:Required Qualifications :
Current NYS Registered Nurse License. Minimum five years in clinical practice. Bachelor’s degree. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; high level customer service; creativity and flexibility and professional/courteous demeanor.Preferred Qualifications :
Case Management/Utilization Certification. Five years Case Management/Utilization experience. Working knowledge of Milliman and/or Interqual criteria. Master’s degree. Management/supervisory experience. PRI certification. Bilingual. Recent experience in a tertiary care hospital and or Emergency Room.Special Notes

The specific salary offer will be based on the candidate’s validated years of comparable experience. Any efforts to inflate or misrepresent experience are grounds for disqualification from the application process or termination of employment if hired.Some positions offer annual supplemental pay such as:Location pay for UUP, CSEA & PEF full-time positions ($3,400)Inconvenience pay/supplemental shift differential.
