seeks a
System Support Analyst, Analyst
( Network/Systems Administration, Analyst ) to support a federal government client in the Arlington, VA area. The role provides the client required technology development, services, testing, and support. The role follows office specific processes that may vary depending upon the specific activities, workflows, and systems/tools governed by SOPs that typically evolve over time.
This position currently requires a hybrid schedule, with 3 days on-site per week, but may vary based on client requirements. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements. Remote work is not authorized for this position.
Responsibilities
Identify all manual processes that can be automated or data that can be interfaced to avoid duplicated entry efforts, minimize human errors, and increase efficiency.
Provide support and analyses for the optimization of GFMS (Momentum financial system), Global Business Intelligence (GBI) (SAP Business Objects), the Momentum System for Fixed Assets, the Regional Financial Management System (RFMS) (Momentum), the Project Cost Accounting System (PCAS), the Domestic Accounts Receivable Tracking System (DARTS), and Web Resource Allocation and Budget Integration Tool (WebRABIT).
Provide analysis and research of account balances between client’s various mixed financial program systems, overseas financial systems, and its primary accounting system GFMS.
Review and make recommendations for improvements (if any) on internal controls currently in place to the client adhering to the internal controls circulars and other requirements and guidelines.
Work on a remediation project to synchronize hierarchies between the GFMS and RFMS, ensuring that valid function codes work in both systems reducing data entry error and improving efficiency.
Work to correct payroll rejections due to split funding of salaries for Security Engineering Officers at posts overseas in anticipation of implementation of the payroll enhancement program which will project salary costs automatically to the end of the month and the quarter availability for posts.
Travel
Local travel up to 10% may be required, but is not expected on a regular basis.
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of experience with technology development, services, testing, and support.
Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Office 365.
Experience in federal financial management and skilled in using systems that support federal financial management services.
Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills to interface with personnel and other government agencies at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience working with databases and financial processes.
Possess critical thinking skills to conceptualize solutions within specified parameters.
Must maintain professional competence and specialized knowledge base by keeping abreast of emerging themes and best practices.
Must be a US Citizen.
Desired Qualifications
Excellent research and briefing skills.
CGFM or other relevant professional certifications.
Education
BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Systems Accounting or other relevant Business Field.
Clearance
Secret with eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance; employment is contingent on passing the government clearance process.

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $80,000 - $105,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL’s complete compensation package.
