Land Development Project Manager

for our

Jacksonville or Orlando offices.

Position Overview: The primary focus of this role will be to manage and deliver multiple complex land development projects from preliminary planning through permitting and ultimately through construction. Primary Responsibilities: Manages a team that may include civil designers, AutoCAD technicians and interns. Functions as the subject matter expert and provides guidance to the team equally on technical aspects of design to permit processing and construction administration. Manages the project scope, cost, schedule, mitigate risks and ensures every team member contributes to the project delivery process. Responsible for quality control by reviewing plans to ensure they are free of errors and omissions. Plans, organizes, prioritizes, coordinates, trains, supports, assigns and evaluates the work of the team. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar curriculum from ABET accredited college or university. Licensed to practice as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Florida, or ability to obtain a Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) within six (6) months of hire. Experience that includes Land Development Design for residential, commercial and industrial land development projects. Proficient skills using AutoCAD, WaterCadd, ICPR, and Excel. Familiar with collaborative working environments such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Ability to work well independently or as part of a team. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide others, build effective and cohesive team. Ability to handle confidential materials with considerable personal tact and initiative.
