Major functionThis position will require basic fabrication and welding background and experience.The primary function of this role will be a variety of fabrication, welding and tube bender operator duties.Essential duties and responsibilities-Measure and cut all sheet metal.-Set up all equipment in tube bending and make adjustments as needed.-Keep work area clean and adhere to all safety rules and procedures.-Maintain high efficiency and keep up with work load.Minimum requirements-Ability to work independently.-Candidate must demonstrate problem solving skills.-Must have good math skills and be detailed oriented.-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,-operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.-Must be able to perform working conditions which includes standing,walking or bending for long periods of time, up to 8-10 hours.-Must be able to work scheduled or unscheduled overtime when necessary to meet business demands.-Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.-Measure and cut all sheet metal.-Set up all equipment in tube bending and make adjustments as needed.-Keep work area clean and adhere to all safety rules and procedures.-Maintain high efficiency and keep up with work load.-Must have the ability to be open-minded and to continually improve processes.-Must be able to work in a team environment and have a positive winning attitude.-Must have high level of professionalism, maturity, and good judgment.KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:-Ability to read interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.-Ability to read and write and speak English effectively.-Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.-Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.-The ideal candidate will possess problem solving skills, dependability and will observe all safety and security guidelines.-Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with non-A/C working environment.-Must be able to work around mechanical / pneumatic tools and be able to use them.-Must be able to work in a fast paced working environment, and be multi-tasked.-Must be reliable, dependable and have good attendance.-Must be able to work occasional overtime, including Saturday's as work demands.
Experience- At least (6) six months experience in fabrication / warehousing environment.Language-
