Position Type: Full-time, Temporary (ASAP – June 6th, 2024)
Job Description:
AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support two Elementary Schools in Chicago Ridge, IL. The SLP will split time between these schools by working at one school three days a week and the other two days a week. This position focuses on K-5th grade students and is designed to assist with the district's overflow of caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-5.
Manage a caseload of approximately 30-45 students, adapting as needs arise throughout the school year.
Conduct speech and language evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other SLPs in the district to support students' communication needs.
Participate in IEP meetings, develop goals, and monitor progress for students with speech and language challenges.
Work closely with the district’s Pre-K SLP and other support staff to ensure continuity of care.
Job Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois.
Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License.
Experience working with Elementary-aged students (K-5) is preferred, not required.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
