Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Orlando, FL is seeking a Summer 2025 Intern Software Quality Engineer. In this role, you will evaluate process/product performance, interface with software engineering to ensure processes and products are compliant to contractual requirements. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of system/software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies; support to System & Software Engineering requirements, design, integration and test activities in an Agile Development Framework (in particular DevSecOps).
Must be a US Citizen This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Pursuing a degree from an accredited college in one of the following disciplines; Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Understanding or experience in system/software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies.
• Understanding or experience supporting System & Software Engineering requirements, design, integration and test activities in an Agile Development Framework (in particular DevSecOps)
• Familiarity Quality Management Systems and Standards
• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity or experience with information systems technology
• Root Cause Analysis methodologies and development of Corrective Action Plans
• Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma (LSS) principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
