As the

Consumer Channel and Partner Marketing Lead , you will be accountable to plan and execute consumer-centric, omni-channel marketing with partners that is aligned to global priorities, functional expertise and local market insights with the goal of driving conversion, sell-through and return on investment (ROI) for our Devices & Creativity Consumer Solution Area.

With a passion and depth of knowledge across our Devices & Creativity portfolio, you will work with partners to influence the design of unique Microsoft experiences across channels and at every touchpoint in the customer journey, working across organizational boundaries to deliver integrated consumer marketing, execution excellence and brand love.

You will act as a trusted advisor to drive strategic decisions about our marketing investment strategy and marketing mix, leveraging multiple funding sources and working with partners to optimize impact and create joint value.

By joining the Consumer Channel & Partner Marketing team, you’ll collaborate closely with Category and Sales teams locally to drive full-funnel marketing for an exciting ecosystem that continues to grow. As part of a regional team, you’ll have the opportunity to share learnings and best practices across markets as well as leverage the global infrastructure for support and shared platforms.

You will also leverage global guidance and cascade strategy and investments across territories looking for ways to drive synergies and efficiencies across the region. In addition, you will work with Territory Leads to set local strategy & plans based on market & partner dynamics and assess and drive performance regionally, sharing insights and best practices across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Omnichannel Strategy

Activate ecommerce sales motions through digital marketing excellence, mobile-first executions and social commerce.

Influence conversion in-store and online through seamless and connected shopper journeys.

Optimize retail presence by landing and maintaining in-store programs and experiences.

Build brand advocates among retail sellers and consumers through training, evangelism and community engagement platforms.

Land best-in-class product launches, key seasonal initiatives and sustain marketing.

Develop co-marketing opportunities and plans with retail, silicon and OEM partners.

Collect and identify test and learn opportunities for consideration worldwide.

Consumer and Partner Marketing Execution

Localize global strategy to territories and global retail partners, driving adoption and usage of global tools, programs and playbooks.

Assess partner capabilities to maximize opportunities and create joint value.

Drive partner planning and investment strategy leading to Partner Marketing Plans to maximize reach and effectiveness across our retail and distribution partners.

Activate partner marketing principles to co-create targeted marketing campaigns with partners to support our lines of business, establishing clear KPIs and marketing value.

Aggregate and leverage analytics and insights to create better investment strategies and execution across marketing investments to drive greater business impact.

Coordinate with consumer marketing teams across the organization to ensure effectiveness in thru the line planning.

QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field AND 10+ years digital, retail, channel marketing, marketing, retail sales, or commercial sales experience

OR equivalent experience.

6+ years people management experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field AND 12+ years digital, retail, channel marketing, marketing, retail sales, or commercial sales experience

OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related field AND 10+ years Digital, Retail, Channel Marketing, Marketing, Retail Sales, or commercial sales experience

OR equivalent experience.

7+ years project leadership/generic management experience.

7+ years of marketing industry experience preferably in the retail space with experience managing multiple product categories and a complex sales motion.

Adept at building integrated partner marketing plans and campaigns across multiple marketing disciplines with direct experience interfacing with partners and a proven track record delivering growth/performance metrics.

Understanding of the omnichannel buying journey, well-versed in sales channels, commerce platforms. Expertise landing and coordinating cross-discipline marketing programs and sales programs.

Track record of marketing execution excellence and ROI through planning, operations-savvy, creative execution, readiness and analytics/insights.

Demonstrated presentation skills to groups of all sizes and levels and a successful track record of sales and negotiation skills, including advanced sales knowledge.

Business and financial acumen – Experience managing suppliers, working across business functions and entrepreneurial flexibility to support trends, market dynamics and new channels. Ability to engage and influence at top levels – executive presence and cross-functional collaborator.

Channel Marketing M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $154,500 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $199,600 - $299,400 per year.
