Summary of Position
The Parasiticides Marketing Director will manage a complex go-to-market strategy across a diverse portfolio of leading brands in the parasiticide category, ensuring robust visibility and engagement within the marketplace. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an enterprise mindset, balancing tactical execution with innovative thinking to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
The Director will lead a cross-functional team of direct and indirect reports, focusing on performance enhancement through effective strategy execution and talent development. A key aspect of this position is fostering a culture of collaboration, as the Director will work closely with internal stakeholders—including sales, product development, and regulatory teams—and external partners to ensure cohesive strategy communication and tactical execution.
The successful candidate will exhibit strong analytical capabilities, leveraging data-driven insights to refine marketing tactics and optimize brand performance. By aligning marketing efforts with overall business goals, the Director will play a crucial role in maximizing marketing effectiveness and driving revenue growth for the Parasiticide franchise.
Essential Accountabilities:
Develop Annual Marketing and Business Plans:
Create comprehensive marketing and business plans that align with overall organizational goals, focusing on sales growth, profit margins, and market share targets. This foundational responsibility sets the direction for all marketing activities and ensures alignment with the company’s vision.
Lead and Develop the Marketing Team:
Manage, mentor, and develop both direct and indirect team members to enhance talent and marketing expertise. This includes recruiting top talent and fostering a high-performing, motivated team culture, which is vital for achieving marketing objectives.
Manage Product Portfolio and Brand Health:
Oversee and strategize product portfolios to maximize long-term sales and profitability while ensuring brand health. This involves executing strategies that are responsive to market demands and maintaining a strong brand presence.
Achieve Financial Obligations and Budget Management:
Ensure that financial targets based on annual plans are met. This includes overseeing advertising and promotional budgets, conducting budget planning, and engaging in forecast management activities to maintain financial discipline.
Develop Marketing Programs for Market Positioning:
Lead the marketing team in creating programs that position the organization’s products and brands effectively in the market. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify strategic opportunities for market positioning and competitive advantage.
Collaboration with Key Stakeholders:
Partner with sales, distribution partners, and other key stakeholders to ensure that marketing objectives and tactics are aligned with broader business strategies. This collaboration is essential for executing successful marketing initiatives and driving overall business performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
10 years of proven experience in a marketing leadership role within the pet care or pharmaceutical industry, particularly in parasiticides or similar categories.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of data-driven decision-making.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range: $181,600.00 - $285,800.00
Available benefits include bonus eligibility, long term incentive if applicable, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
