Gappify is seeking a
Solutions Consultant
to partner with Sales teams to demonstrate Gappify’s software products and communicate our value proposition to Accounting & Finance leaders. This is a highly visible and collaborative position, playing a significant role in driving new customer growth and existing customer retention for a SaaS startup. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, along with executive presence, excellent communication, and presentation skills. This is What You'll Do at Gappify Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers.
Deliver clear, concise, and impactful demos to showcase the business value of end-to-end accrual automation, including the advantages of strengthening SOX compliance and optimized accounting processes.
Demonstrate a strong technical background and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
Support various sales, renewal, marketing, and channel partner objectives.
Assist with the development of formal sales plans and technical proposals for assigned opportunities.
Be hands-on with the Gappify platform to prove out customer use cases.
Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to stay up-to-date on our product offerings and effectively communicate product updates to clients.
Serve as a subject matter expert for new customers by gathering requirements and thoroughly understanding their accruals process to drive adoption rates.
Keep up with Accounting technology and industry trends/best practices.
Other duties as assigned.
This is What You'll Bring to Our Team BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or relevant fields.
Minimum 3-5 years finance or accounting experience, with consistent involvement across a variety of functional areas.
Ability to interact with customers at various levels of technical and non-technical depth.
Experience using ERP and/or P2P systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Workday, Coupa, etc.)
CPA and/or industry accounting experience, understanding of GAAP & SOX concepts.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects; meeting deadlines and strong attention to detail.
Excellent presentation skills; A story-teller who knows how to add credibility through use of data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to think analytically and apply problem solving skills to scenarios throughout the course of the work day.
Self-starter, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to work independently and in a team: meticulous, critical thinker and performance driven.
