In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024, with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated with that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on lead information architect to join our team. This role is responsible for designing and implementing efficient content management and information architecture strategies and to lead our Technical Content and Automation team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with DITA-OT and XSLT and will be responsible for managing the technical writers' authoring and publishing pipeline on DITA CCMS. This role also involves creating custom plugins, enhancements, identifying and developing productivity tools, automation and organization metric dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee structuring, organizing and managing of the digital information to enhance content usability, accessibility and manage technical writers' authoring and publishing pipeline on DITA CCMS preferably Ixiasoft.Create and maintain information architecture, taxonomy, metadata and structure content frameworks to support content reuse, consistency and accessibility.Develop and maintain custom plugins and enhancements using DITA-OT and XSLT.Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand content needs and business requirements translating them into scalable IA solutions.Identify and implement productivity tools, automation and organization metric dashboards using Python, JavaScript, Web2Py, Power BI and other relevant technologies.Develop and implement content strategies that align with business goals.Partner with UX/UI and developers to create seamless user experience.Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.Lead a team of content strategists, and software developers providing guidance and support to deliver to business goals.Provide regular performance feedback and support professional development.In addition to the qualifications listed above, the ideal candidate will also have:Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence decision-making.Experience deploying software programs and the ability to leverage the latest best practices and methodologies.Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and project management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Experience in developing organizational metric dashboards and creating interactive collateral.Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience, or PhD with 4+ years of experience in either Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or STEM-related field.9+ years of experience in technical content management with a focus on DITA-OT and XSLT.4+ years of experience with Ixiasoft CCMS, including creating custom plugins.This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of FPGA technology is a plus.Leadership experience.Experience with information architecture, content strategy, and taxonomy.Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, Web2Py, and other relevant technologies.Job Type:
