The team you will be a part of
The Supply and Logistics team is responsible for keeping the appropriate levels of materials and/or stock supplies with the aim to maximize inventory control and company sales. Organizes deliveries to meet given deadlines and customer expectations. Supervises and tracks the flow of materials and products from suppliers throughout the organization.
This role in summary
We are seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Analyst, Supply & Logistics to join our Service Parts and Accessories Organization at Riverview Campus in Benton Harbor, MI. As a Sr. Analyst within this group, you will be responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks specific to forecasting demand for Service Parts and Accessories. Your work week would be a cadence of data analysis, communications, reviews, and post audits. You will be interacting with Sales, Production Planning, New Product Introduction, Quality and Manufacturing on a daily / weekly basis to create an understanding of the demand forecast and make sure that the forecast supports all activities for the Customer.
Your responsibilities will include
Responsible for all forecasting activities associated with service parts and accessories across a 12-24 month horizon. This includes executing Weekly / Monthly Demand Reviews pulling sales data reviewing forecast vs actuals
Create and maintain the accessory forecast for assigned platforms, incorporating business intelligence and statistical information gathered from sales, Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), and 3rd party state provider
Review sales enrichments, launch updates, latest estimates and demand drivers for accessories and present, solicit, and assess feedback on the enrichment data from sales and marketing
Recommend adjustments for operational forecasts, location level forecast, and review promotional plans with saleschannels to gain alignment
Responsible for maintaining the forecast for service parts in SPP (Service Parts Planning), focusing on parts demand changes as well as changing forecasts for over planning and under planning
Provide input on new product focusing on New Product Introduction Phase-In activities including adding and removing parts from Phase-In,setting Production Start Dates, evaluating Phase-In forecasts and aid in driving New Product Launches
Refine systems and methods to continually improve parts and accessories forecasts so that the company can better anticipate customer needs and handle customer requirements
Responsible for Forecast Accuracy Lag reviews calculating error, bias, MAPE comparing/measuring results
Recommend forecast adjustments based on outlier sales orders due to one time activities
Responsible for creating Monthly Outlook Reviews as well as presenting to Leadership, Sales and Finance Teams
Develop KPI’s for demand and forecast accuracies for both parts and accessories, updating as appropriate through the various levels of the organization to drive improved overall forecasts
Communicate to Leadership on a monthly basis as a part of the monthly Material Control & Logistics Leadership meetings
Manage the inbound freight Expedite Outlook review
Minimum requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or Business
2+ years of experience in Inventory, Supply Planning, Forecasting, Manufacturing, Procurement, Order Management, Materials or Logistics
Preferred skills and experiences
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business or Supply Chain
2+ years of experience using SAP/APO, Anaplan, or other software related to demand planning
This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and levels of business
Demonstrated proficiency in data mining, forecasting, and forecasting methods, with an understanding of
financial and operational impacts on process partners
Understanding of general marketing environment and impacts of competitive activities, including a general understanding of the appliance industry and the activities that impact the forecast
Experienced with other software packages including Windows and Microsoft Office
