The Sr. Events Manager at the Highlander Union Building (HUB) will be responsible for the oversight and management of events taking place across the Highlander Union Complex (HUB, Student Success Center, outdoor areas, and some academic spaces). Under the supervision of the Director of the Highlander Union Building, this position will collaborate with other members of the HUB Scheduling team to assist students, staff, and faculty with event reservations through EMS, event setups, multimedia, logistics, and day-of event management.This position participates in a rotation to assist with the management of high-level events (Orientation, Fraternity/Sorority Recruitment, Convocation, and ASPB Concerts). Occasionally, this position works beyond normal business hours to accommodate event needs. Other duties include shared supervision of student scheduling associates, training, vendor management, walk-in/phone support, weekend off-site support, and other duties as assigned.The full salary range for the Sr. Events Manager is $66,500 - $118,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $78,672.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position.
