• Patient Population: Adults - Geriatrics

• Unit Systems: Cerner, Pyxis, SBAR

• Shift: 3x12 NIGHTS

• Weekend REQ: Every Other Weekend REQ

• Float REQ: Within service line

• Scrubs: Any colorCERTIFICATIONS:

• Required: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, and TNCC/TCAR (TNCC/TCAR can pend prior to start)

• Preferred: CPI or MABREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Years of EXP REQ: 2 yrs

Work Settings:

• PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown

• Telemetry

Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response:

• Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias

• Telemetry

Endocrine/Metabolic:

• IV insulin protocols

• Titration of insulin drips

GI: Feeding tube management

IV Therapy/Phlebotomy:

• Blood Product Administration

• Accessing Ports

• Central/Peripheral line care/management

• Phlebotomy

• PICC line management

• Starting IVs

Medications:

• Heparin protocols

• Manage cardiac drips - no titration

• Manage vasoactive drips - no titration

• PCA

• Titrate cardiac drips

Neurological/Psychiatric:

• CVA

• Pre/post neurosurgery

• Spinal cord injury/TBI

Orthopedics: Ortho trauma

Plastics: Surgical Drains

Respiratory/Thoracic:

• Care of Ventilated Patient

• Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac

• External CPAP/BIPAP

• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)

• Interpretation of ABGs

• Nasal Cannula

• Non-invasive airway management

• Oxygen face masks
