At WTCSB our mission is to provide a coordinated system of quality recovery-oriented care in Mental Health, Intellectual Disability, and Substance Abuse Services to the citizens of the cities of Franklin and Suffolk and the counties of Isle of Wight and Southampton. We are seeking individuals to help with Van Drivers throughout our agency:
Van Drivers-Full Time- Suffolk and Courtland
**Experience with clients transporting clients with medical or mental health concerns preferred. **
Responsibilities and Duties for Transportation Aide:
Transports consumers to assigned program destination, ensures that proper safety standards are maintained on board the vehicleComplete daily records and maintain paperworkPerform daily vehicle maintenance checks and safety equipment inspections. Communicate effectively with diversified groups of people.Assist physically/mentally challenged individuals entering and exiting the vehicles as required.Qualifications and Skills for Transportation Aide & ft Van Driver:
High School Diploma or GEDOne year work experience transporting individuals with ID/DD or SMI- PreferredValid Driver's License with acceptable DMV record-
RequiredAbility to lift fifty poundsCDL not required but
preferred
for Van DriverPre-employment physical and annually, thereafter.Preferred : First Aid, ad CPR certifiedBenefits:
