Solugenix is assisting a client, a financial services company, in their search for a
Cassandra/Couchbase DBA.
This is a 6-12 month contract opportunity based out of Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid).
Qualifications:
Experience with Couchbase and Cassandra databases, including installing, upgrading, configuring, and monitoring of clusters.Creation of Couchbase buckets, documents, loading the documents, backups and recovery, sizing the Couchbase, day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of Couchbase clusters in Prod and non-prod environment.Experience in Cassandra cluster expansion activities.Experience in using Cassandra OpsCenter and on repair, node sync and other process.Define and establish best practices with Couchbase and Cassandra, including configuration, monitoring health and backups of the cluster.Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues as needed and be available (on call) 24*7 for emergency PROD issues.Experience in Couchbase's high availability and failover capabilities, to meet the application requirements.Experience with Linux Operating Systems.Experience with Shell scripting and Ansible.
Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $60/hour to $65/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
