At QIAGEN, you make a difference every day.Position DescriptionThe QIAcuity Digital PCR System is an integral part of the QIAGEN portfolio and an organizational growth pillar that will continue to drive short and long-term success. To sustain rapid adoption, we are expanding our team with dPCR Specialty Sales Managers (SSM), who are responsible for digital PCR sales and customer support within all markets and across Key Accounts. The Specialty Sales Manager represents and sells the QIAcuity digital PCR line, across instruments, consumables and services.The role requires working directly with the customer with detailed knowledge, ensuring customer success and achieving overall regional goals regarding the dPCR product line while coordinating with the respective teams. The SSM must have a deep understanding of the QIAcuity product line, the ability to think strategically, ability to understand the customer's needs, communicate how dPCR can meet those needs and be able to handle rejection and overcome objections.They must also be able to manage their sales territory, manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, track their progress and measure their success through the use of metrics, and stay current on industry trends and new products or services.Responsibilities include:- Achieve the dPCR budget in the assigned geography across all customer segments and responsible for promoting, educating and selling all products within the product line- Support the execution of QIAGEN's dPCR market strategy in conjunction with Sales, Marketing and Commercial Operations cross-functional teams in North America- Accelerate QIAcuity growth and utilization through success implementation of strategic plan- Develop key customer-specific strategies to maximize revenue for the region, from lead identification and early discovery, through to implementation- Researches and identifies potential customers within a specific region across all customer segments. Utilize information to create targeted sales strategies and campaigns and attend trade shows and networking events to connect with potential customers- Help design and facilitate local dPCR events to create awareness and support lead generation with target audiences-Nurture QIAcuity userbase through routine engagement to gauge experience, solicit feedback and support needs to drive customer satisfaction- Develop regional KOLs and contribute to maintaining a database of references, champions and influential customers- Track dPCR applications, userbase and measure success through the use of metrics such as conversion rates and customer retention rates with strong use of Salesforce.com. Must also stay current on industry trends and new applications for competitive conversions- Forecast supply chain demands with a constant pulse on customer growth trends and help to implement supply agreements where necessary- Foster QIAGEN's sample-to-insight offering and develop workflow sales strategies from sample isolation to data analysisPosition Requirements- Minimum 5 years of biotech, life sciences or clinical sales experience, preferably with qPCR/dPCR workflow knowledge- Minimum education: Bachelor of Science in a Life Science- Strong verbal (oral and written) and presentation skills required- Territory: Southeast regionPersonal Requirements- Self-motivated with an innate drive to succeed and reach organizational goals- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills at all business levels- Customer focused and solutions oriented- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze the dPCR market, business needs and trends to format a plan, both working independently and in teams- Willingness to travel across the geography >50%What we offerAt the heart of QIAGEN are our people who drive our success.
