The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of accounting and finance operations, student financial services, physical plant operations, risk and property management, technology services, human resources, and auxiliary services. This role requires a strong commitment to ethical financial practices, leadership in budgeting processes, and the ability to provide strategic financial insight to support the University's mission. The VPFA/CFO will also be involved in negotiating contracts, managing the University's endowment, and ensuring that all financial activities align with the University's strategic plan. Applicants for the VPFA/CFO position at the company should be creative, collaborative leaders with a proven track record in financial management and operations. A master's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field, as well as a CPA designation, is required. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of management experience in business administration or finance, with a focus on budgeting, investment management, and risk management. Experience in a multicultural academic environment is preferred. The role demands superior skills in financial analysis, a strong background in accounting, and proficiency in relevant software and student information systems.
