Analyst I, Loan Syndicate & Sales, Cleveland

Location: 127 Public Square - Cleveland, Ohio 44114 About the Business KeyBanc Capital Markets' Loan Syndicate and Sales Desk is responsible for structuring, marketing, and distributing syndicated loans. The desk acts as a contact point between the borrower and the market. The Desk is looking to hire an Analyst who will have responsibility for analyzing comparable transactions, supporting the distribution process, and formulating relevant analyses on market trends. About the Job Analyze market trends to support discussions on structuring and originating syndicated loan and high yield bond transactions Create comparable transaction analyses to support pitching, committee memos for approvals, and other analyses Support the bookrunning / distribution process by tracking investor feedback and preparing syndication updates on in-market deals Use critical analysis, interpretation, and application skills to formulate relevant analysis on market trends and proactively come up with ideas to pitch KeyBanc's clients Execute on weekly and on-going research projects including but not limited to debt capital markets news, macroeconomic conditions, in-market transactions Attend, speak, and take notes on daily capital markets update conference calls with KeyBanc's DCM team Coordinate with multiple internal deal teams on pitchbooks, in market transactions, and other projects Develop relationships with other banks and investors Develop knowledge of relevant information resources: Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business (Finance, Accounting or related) Preferred one year of Capital Markets (equity or debt) or Credit experience Preference for a candidate with a demonstrated background and interest in data analysis Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) Have or willing to obtain Series 79 and Series 63 within six months of employment Job Posting Expiration Date: 09/20/2024 KeyCorp is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer committed to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture.
