DarkStar is a government authorized LM-owned on-premises information system that provides standard IT services allowing our classified programs to leverage a centralized system enabling greater speed and efficiency. DarkStar is one of the key OneLM Classified Platforms that is critical to realizing our Classified Transformation objectives.
Your Mission:
The DarkStar Program Manager is an important leadership role in Classified IT Transformation success. In this role, the candidate is responsible for the overall DarkStar strategic vision, and all aspects related to the planning and execution to realize the vision. This includes analyzing and orchestrating business demands for Classified IT services with the continual delivery of new capabilities and enhancements that will make DarkStar a highly valuable platform to our Business Area Classified Programs.
Core responsibilities include:
─ Program management of the DarkStar Classified IT Platform responsible for the continual delivery of new capabilities that align with Business Area / Classified program requirements.
─ Responsible for all aspects of cost, schedule, and technical with respect to DarkStar.
─ Continually analyze business demands for Classified IT services delivery to maintain the DarkStar long-term and short-term roadmap to insure DarkStar is constantly evolving to deliver the best product for classified programs.
─ Hands on leadership over all DarkStar capabilities projects related to planning, prioritization, organization, execution, integration, risk management, and status.
─ Engage with stakeholders, partners, and senior leadership to communicate DarkStar current / future capabilities as well as progress against future objectives.
─ Works under consultative direction towards predetermined long-range goals and objectives. Assignments often self-initiated and determines courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.

Basic Qualifications:
─ Program Management experience leading technical, schedule, cost, and risk aspects of IT programs in both waterfall and Agile methodologies.
─ Experience providing leadership, motivation, and direction to diverse, cross-discipline teams to work collaboratively and cooperatively to deliver on unified objectives.
─ Strong problem solving, root cause and corrective action skills.
─ Experience briefing executive leadership.
─ Ability and willingness to obtain DoD Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required)
─ Demonstrated ability to work with the spectrum of skills and domains required to deliver IT services including Compute, Network, Applications, Engineering, Architecture, Security, Finance and Supply Chain.
─ Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where requirements and priorities can change rapidly.
─ Demonstrated strong communications skills able to effectively communicate with the technical team, leaders, stakeholders, and executive leaders.
─ Experience leading and delivering IT services in a classified environment and reasonable understanding of Cybersecurity authorization process.
─ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
─ Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10+ years of professional experience
Desired Skills:
─ Active DoD Secret Clearance
─ Experience with delivery and authorization of classified systems requiring implementation of IT services and application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) protocols.
─ Experience delivering complex IT systems and services.
─ Experience with various project management tools (Service Central, JIRA, MS Project…)
─ Experience with implementing Agile processes for the delivery of IT services.
─ Experience in metric reporting using tools such as Tableau and Microsoft Office Suite.
─ Strong financial background. CAM and PM certified.
─ Hands on System or Network Administration experience building out, configuring, testing, and hardening classified or unclassified IT systems.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $236,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
