About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Finance Director with a strong M&A background to drive strategic growth through acquisitions. In this role, you will lead the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of deals, collaborating closely with executive leadership to support our client's long-term growth objectives.Key Responsibilities:M&A Leadership:
Drive mergers and acquisitions initiatives by identifying, sourcing, and executing strategic transactions aligned with our corporate vision and goals.Deal Management:
Lead and manage the entire M&A process, from initial sourcing and evaluation through due diligence, negotiations, and post-transaction integration.Industry Insight:
Maintain an in-depth understanding of the logistics, supply chain, or food and beverage manufacturing industry, tracking key players, trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, legal, and senior leadership, to ensure alignment and smooth integration for each transaction.Financial Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive financial modeling, valuation, and ROI analysis to support strategic decision-making and investment proposals.Qualifications:Experience:
5-10 years in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or private equity, with a proven track record of successfully closing multiple deals.Transaction Expertise:
Demonstrated experience in managing the full lifecycle of M&A transactions, with a preference for candidates who have completed 12+ deals.Strategic Acumen:
Skilled at identifying and evaluating acquisition targets that align with corporate objectives, with the ability to balance growth opportunities and financial prudence.Analytical Skills:
Advanced skills in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market analysis, with the ability to present clear and actionable insights to leadership.This is a full-time role that requires being onsite 5 days per week out of their Irvine office. Compensation:$175,000-$250,000 per year
