The Network Capacity Analyst will be responsible for forecasting, evaluating, and providing recommendations to optimize Charles Schwab network infrastructure. You will work closely with the Network Engineering, Capacity Management and Network Monitoring team to analyze Bandwidth Utilization, connectivity, and latency trends to predict and anticipate future demand.
Track and analyze Network trends to identify capacity issues and drive optimal performance.
Collect Network Monitoring tool data to generate regular Capacity reports and Dashboard.
Use dashboards and business metrics to forecast future demand needs by building capacity forecasts.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including, Network Engineering, Monitoring Engineering and IT Operations to best solve problems and optimize Network utilization.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related discipline with an information technology focus or equivalent experience.
3+ years’ experience in Network Capacity Planning, Network Engineering, or similar role
3+ years’ experience in Network monitoring tools such Infovista or equivalent
4+ years' experience demonstrating problem solving and decision-making skills focusing on trend analysis.
4+ years' of Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, and Switching)
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Network Monitoring tools such as Netflow and Infovista
Experience with creating data visualization dashboards (Grafana, SSRS, Tableau)
Certification in Network Management (CCNA, CCNP or equivalent)
