2 years + of Pediatric Critical Care Experience Required2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE - Two years of Pediatric Critical Care Experience RequiredExperience with critical care management of disease processes (respiratory illnesses, sepsis, DKA)Experience with pressure lines (primarily CVPs, arterial lines, some UAC/UVC)Experience managing ventilated patients (HFOV, VDR, Servo)Experience with drips (epi, nor-epi, milrinone, dopamine, precedex, etc.)Experience with complex trauma patients (EVDs, Codmans, neuro assessments)Experience with complex pediatric postop patients (congenital anomalies/craniofacial, tracheostomies, etc.)Schedule Information
Shift Detail: NIGHTSAssignment Length: 13 weeksShift/Workdays: NIGHTSWeekend – Discuss during the interviewGuaranteed Hours: 36Unit Specific Information
Documentation system: MeditechProcedures performed on unit: Foley insertions, trans-pyloric feeding tubes, dressing changes (wound and CVL), port access, etc.Patient Experience Required: Two years of management of pediatric critical care patients in high acuity setting.Additional Details
Floating policy: As neededDress Code: RN - BlueNail Policy – Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the labTattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possiblePiercings – Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
