Duties and Responsibilities
The Performance & Data Senior Analyst defines the Performance and Quality Team strategy
and structure and helps to define the analytics needed to manage the VCF successfully.
Primary Responsibilities:
Define Performance and Quality Operations Team Strategy, including developing
strategic plans to enhance team performance and quality.
Inform data reporting requirements and dashboards.
Develop and conduct baseline Time and Motion studies.
Support defining data metrics for future processes.
Establish throughput and processing times for future processes.
Define data management standards using best practices.
Conduct complex data analysis and queries to inform both Transformation and VCF
Program decision making, including drafting executive reports and dashboards that
demonstrate the analyses.
Demonstrated data analysis skills.
Ability to export data from source systems and leverage analytics tools
(PowerBI/Tableau) required.
Advanced data analysis, dashboard, and report creation skills required.
Ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders to determine needs and
requirements for management and operational reporting.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Working knowledge of technical implementation project vernacular, and understanding
of Agile methodology and the technical project lifecycle, including high-level knowledge
about processes, requirements, and system capability development and tracking,
preferred.
Skilled in coordinating across teams and managing competing demands.
Demonstrated success working in a hybrid environment.
Proactively manages work, sets appropriate priorities, and manages time to deliver high
quality work on schedule.
Ability to use VCF systems and tools and DOJ network to complete work efficiently and
accurately.
Exceptional attention to detail and deadlines.
Requirements
Undergraduate degree with Master’s degree in relevant area preferred.
10+ years’ experience in data analysis and data-driven decision making.
Proficiency in Tableau or PowerBI strongly required.
Proficiency in PC applications, including MS Office. Must have expert-level proficiency
in MS Excel. Experience working with the Agile methodology and tools such as Jira is
preferred.
Ability to exercise judgment and critical thinking.
Ability to work independently, handle simultaneous deadlines, and manage conflicting
priorities.
Skills in time management, organization, communication, and problem solving.
Experience with federal government programs is desired.
Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
