Growing chemical manufacturer in the Turlock, CA area is seeking a Plant Operations Manager to lead their team of 16 employees. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) and experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. At least 8-10 years of experience in plant operations is required. Excellent benefits and bonus. Relocation provided.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

responsibilities:
Provide overall plant leadership for the chemical manufacturing site including manufacturing, quality, safety, packaging, and distribution
Contract with outside services needed to maintain equipment and facility
Provide monthly reporting of performance to upper management
Establish cost savings and goals involving staff, equipment and plant operations to achieve the lowest possible manufacturing costs
Maintain operational budget
Establish plant quality programs that ensure the compliance with all federal, state, local and customer requirements.
Ensure that in-line quality controls are established to detect and correct quality failures and reduce out-of-specification product.
Manage compliance with Health and Safety programs
Work closely with the Maintenance Manager developing preventative maintenance programs to ensure efficiency
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering; chemical or similar preferred
At least 8-10 years of plant operations, chemical manufacturing preferred
Proficiency with ERP systems- SAP preferred
Ability to travel minimally
Demonstrated ability to develop and effectively lead a team environment
