The Forvis Mazars audit team provides services that go beyond the compliance function. This team brings credibility to our client's financial picture, communicates information objectively and clearly, and provides insight to help clients improve their businesses.
How you will contribute:
Assisting with managing, developing, and coaching professionalsReviewing detailed audit engagement proceduresAdequately identifying audit risks and problems through review to ensure audit engagements are completed with defendable files and documentationConsistently identifying engagement and operating opportunities for improvement and providing timely solutions and consultationManaging multiple concurrent engagements without disruption and within scheduled deadlinesProviding staff with timely performance feedbackManaging multiple client relationships, billings, and resource needsBuilding personal referral sources and clientele while actively participating in team marketing opportunitiesLeading audit committee meetings and presentationsParticipating in speaking and article-writing opportunitiesCompleting required Continued Professional Education hoursTraveling to serve clients as necessary
We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:
An aptitude to recruit and develop firm associates and team membersTeam and engagement management skillsInnovative ideas for servicing clienteleCommunication skills to effectively relate to people of diverse backgrounds and experience levels both verbally and in writingAn ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment to reach clear-set goals
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field9 years or more of relevant audit experienceCPA LicenseExperience managing multiple complex client engagementsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with hospitals, long-term care preferred. We are also looking for individuals with experience working with private-equity-backed providers.
