The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at UMass Chan Medical School and the UMass Memorial Children's Medical Center is recruiting for a faculty candidate with a focus on clinical care, teaching, and research and/or quality improvement. The ideal candidate will focus most of their effort on diabetes care and program development. The Division currently consists of four established faculty members, 3 registered nurses, diabetic educators, dedicated pediatric dieticians and a social worker. Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient clinical care, outreach services to nearby areas, teaching medical students, pediatric residents and other post graduate students, and research and/or quality improvement work.Visit our department website Children's Medical Center/Pediatrics to learn more about our department.UMass Chan Medical School is a thriving research institution with robust clinical and translational research programs, as well as community and population health research. Faculty have access to core resources through the NIH-funded Center for Clinical and Translational Science as well as the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences.Current academic projects within the Division include improving diabetes care delivery including SDOH screening.
