Responsibilities
This position is based onsite at our office in Birmingham, Atlanta, or Nashville. We’re seeking a skilled systems engineer who has the business knowledge and technical expertise to implement strategies, evaluate products, and build upon an infrastructure that supports the changing needs of our company and industry. In this role, the systems engineer will design, develop, and integrate complex work systems for every stage of a lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be able to reliably deliver mission-critical infrastructure with an eye toward security, accessibility, and optimization.Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following

Managing onboarding and offboarding of devices and endpointsManaging endpoint deployment processes and technologyAutomating processes and improving them via scripts (PowerShell)Ensure all work is executed in a secure mannerInfrastructure ticket triage, research, and work with others to resolve recurring or escalated support issuesInstall, configure, and administer systems, services, and line of business applicationsPerform advanced troubleshooting of applications and the infrastructure they run onPerform complex updates, patches, and configuration changesIdentify process improvement opportunities and areas for automationManage and maintain application delivery technologiesManage cloud applicationsCreate, update, and manage integrations and integrated systemsCraft custom scripts and automations that reduce the need for human interactionMaintain desired state for servers and endpointsCommunicate with stakeholders to identify what they want to accomplish with a system or applicationWork with vendors to get quotes and service for new or existing applications, services, and equipmentEducation - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
2-4 years of professional experience coupled with technical expertise required of the roleBachelor's degree in a technology related field or relevant certificationsExperience with PowerShell scriptingExperience with Azure and Intune endpoint management in a Microsoft environmentWillingness and ability to learnCommunication with varied audiences, including leadership and end usersSolution-orientedDesire and ability to teach and mentor othersThe above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
