Job Description Position Summary
The Credit Analyst Intern will hold responsibilities that include: (i) spreading & analyzing financial statements for both prospective and existing clients for TBK Bank and TriumphPay; (ii) obtaining third party credit reports for prospective and exiting clients; (iii) completing internal credit training material; (iv) discussing loan and TriumphPay opportunities with the credit analyst team; (v) attending departmental credit meetings.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist the credit department in analyzing financial, credit, and collateral data to evaluate risk associated with current or potential commercial and commercial real estate loan opportunities.
Support the loan and credit analyst staff in preparation of written credit proposals and presentation to various approvers and/or credit committees.
Review incoming financial statements on existing customers, updating financial spreads, and communicating findings with the Direct Supervisor.
Attend departmental credit, lending, and whole bank meetings.
Other duties, as assigned.
Experience & Education
Actively pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Math, Finance, or Business Administration.
Recent graduates (within 12 months of graduation)
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Skills & Abilities Required
Strong organization, interpersonal, communication skills are required
Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary
Problem solving and decision-making skills are essential
Highly motivated applicants are desired
