Job Summary:

The SAP IT Lead for RTR (Record to Report) Workstream will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the SAP RTR module. This role involves collaborating with various business units to ensure the alignment of IT systems with business objectives, managing project timelines, and working with a team of SAP professionals.

The jobs entails representing Ranpak in executing system integration testing cycles and deployment of SAP to the Ranpak organization, working closely with Ranpak business team members, IT team members, external consultants, and third-party software providers.

He/she will also oversee support, maintenance, solution quality, and continuous improvement enablement. This will include overseeing a combination of managed service resources and internal resources.

The IT Lead will report to the Senior Director of ERP Applications, reporting into the Ranpak CTO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Lead the implementation of the SAP RTR module, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Develop and manage project plans, including defining project objectives, tasks, and resource requirements.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of SAP solutions with business processes.Technical Leadership:

Oversee support staff, resolution/testing/documenting solution defects, manage solution governance, review solution quality, manage systems upgrades and enhancements.He/she will also be responsible for overseeing the solution extension for any business expansion, including fit/gap against the template Ranpak solution, new system build elements, testing and regression testing, deployment, and support.Provide technical expertise and guidance on SAP RTR functionalities, best practices, and system optimization.Lead the configuration, customization, and maintenance of the SAP RTR module.Oversee the development and execution of test plans to ensure system functionality and performance.Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.Continuous Improvement:

Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.Spearhead key continuous improvement initiatives and solution decisions/roadmap in the future.Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and trends to ensure the organization is leveraging the most effective solutions.As An Ideal Candidate, You Are Great At:

Ensuring the configuration of the SAP Finance modules are adopting SAP Best Practices and meeting the critical requirements to drive the manufacturing processes.Supporting the configuration and testing of the SAP Finance module.Understanding and analyzing business requirements and translate them into system requirements, configurations, and customizations.Dispositioning requirements that deviate from SAP Best Practices and effectively aid the business in adopting standard out-of-box functionalities.Completing the functional specifications for any interfaces, forms and extensions required in the Record-to-report workstream.Monitoring the technical delivery and aiding in the testing of the end-to-end processes.Conducting unit testing, functional and system integration testing, both functional and security, and triaging system deficiencies when they occur.Developing of documentation, including requirements gathering documentation, functional design documents, test scripts, training materials.Triaging issues and defects and track and report on resolution and perform root cause analysis.Monitoring and respond to service desk tickets and maintain ticket statuses.Providing status updates on operational activities, incidents, service requests and minor enhancements.The ideal candidate will also have:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Finance, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience configuring and implementing SAP ERP or S4/HANA, with a focus on RTR workstream.At minimum 4 full lifecycle implementations (or equivalent experience) configuring SAP FICO module (SAP S/4 Finance preferred) required.Familiarity with SAP integration between modules - SD, MM, PP, PS, EWMExperience executing a business blueprint and documenting business requirements that can be understood by a technical process team.Familiarity with the business processes around Finance, Accounting, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.Experience designing and supporting interfaces, conversions and forms for SAP S4/HANA.Experience with SAP reporting, embedded analytics, and HANA live reporting a plus.Must have excellent communication and analytical skills, demonstrate excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills; both oral and written are a necessity.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.SAP S4/HANA certification(s) in Finance highly preferredAdditional Information:
