Description
We are looking for a network administrator to join our IT team and manage our company's network infrastructure. As a network administrator, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers. You will also troubleshoot network issues, monitor network performance, and ensure network security and availability. You should have strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team. This is a salaried position with daytime hours, Monday through Friday.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Setup user accounts (Active Directory/Office 365)Setup/Maintenance of VMWare serversMonitoring of Anti-Virus Status on user workstationsConfiguration and Maintenance of various Cisco/Meraki networking and IT equipment: Firewalls, Switches, Wireless Controllers/Access Points, Cisco Umbrella, Meraki Cameras, etc.Setup/Maintain Various Windows Server roles including but not limited to: Remote Desktop Gateways, Print Servers, File Servers, SQL Servers, etc.Support and troubleshooting of production floor systems as related to network connectivityTroubleshoot end user issues with Office 365 and various other office related softwareSupport users in relation to accounts and access to the ERP systemShared Responsibilities Include:
Resolve user IT support ticketsHelp document existing procedures and develop new ones as neededRestore data for users as neededHelp setup user workstations as neededCoordinating and working with other IT members and system administratorsRequirements
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Experience and working knowledge of:
Current Windows Operating SystemsWindows ServerVMWare (vSphere/ESXI)Cisco NetworkingPowerShellActive DirectoryOffice 365
This person should be a self-starter and work well in a team setting. They should have the ability to research problems independently and bring possible solutions to the team. Excellent trouble shooting skills are a must.
