Procedures performed on the unit include CBI, wound care, drain management (chest tubes, Jackson-Pratt etc.), Foley insertion, central line dressing changes, telemetry monitoring, and EKGs PRN. The work schedule requires 3-12 hours shifts, every other weekend rotation, and working on rotating holidays. There is a floating policy to float to the same level of care.
