We are looking for an AP Specialist for our FDH Hardware division. The AP Specialist will be responsible but not limited to all aspects of accounting duties within our organizations. The AP Speciliast responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly Responsible for the matching and timely payment of invoices in a high-volume environment Daily processing of A/P invoices using system matching and batch processing Monthly statement reconciliation for all assigned vendors Special projects and analysis Responsible for preparing month-end accruals Responsible for creating and updating spreadsheet schedules
Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience 3+ years Accounts Payable expense processing required Experience in a 3-way match system is required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer service relationships Prior experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software packages is a plus Must be punctual and dependable Maintain a clean and organized work environment Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required Ability to prioritize projects frequently Strong analytical skills, documentation skills, and people skills are a must Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
