2nd Shift = 3pm-11pm

Shift Premium: $1.80/hour

Summary/Objective:

The Shipping Clerk is primarily responsible for keeping track of inventory records. Shipping Clerks are expected to know traffic loading and the material handler and stock keeper process.

Compares identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against orders or other recordsCreates pick list and schedules shippingDetermines method of shipmentProcesses Bills of LadingRuns daily production reports and distributesEnters scrap and run reportsNotifies scrap hauler on material that needs to be picked upExamines FISH Forms are completedMaintains inventory of shipping materials and suppliesCore Competencies:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

Required Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred

Required Experience:

Prefer (but not required) six months related job experience

Salary Description

From $16/hr plus shift premium of $1.80/hr
