JOB DUTIES:
Design, develop and support the backend infrastructure for a service dedicated to labeling self-driving car perception dataDesign, develop, and support a comprehensive storage solution specifically tailored for managing perception data, as well as systems for both data collection and analytics functionalitiesDesign, develop and support data processing pipelines within a Kubernetes cluster environmentDesign, develop and support procedures for sensor fusion and the acquisition of diverse datasetsImplement algorithms designed to optimize and improve the effectiveness of the human annotation procedureImplement advanced algorithms in data mining, active learning, and uncertainty estimationCollaborate closely with fellow researchers and engineers across the organization to establish an integrated system for collecting high-quality perception datasets
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Foreign equivalent is acceptable.
At least 5 years of professional experience in Software engineering or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience working with data-intensive systems using machine learning
At least 5 years of professional experience in Software engineering or equivalent;
Knowledge of batch and streaming data processing, warehousing, and analytics solutions
Have a strong understanding of machine learning theory and familiarity with active learning approaches
Knowledge of Perception fundamentals: detection, tracking, sensor fusion, metrics and statistics
Familiarity with self-driving projects' architecture and principles: knowing principles of their work, deployment, data delivery, analytics processes; expertise in servicing and working with self-driving cars and robots
Proficiency in Python and its frameworks and libraries: PySpark, Django, SQLAlchemy, alembic, Aiohttp, asyncio
Hands-on experience with C++, ROS (Robot Operating System), and serialization technologies like FlatBuffers/Protocol Buffers
At least 1 year of experience in designing and implementing data processing pipelines in Ku
