AEROTEK IS HIRING FOR MECHANICAL ASSEMBLERS @18ABOVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Description:

Yaskawa Motoman builds and programs robotics for a variety of manufacturing applications.

Duties:

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of robotic production equipment as well as the cells and apparatus they will be housed within

• Mechanical assembly such as building the cages that would be placed around a robot

• Electrical assembly such as wiring

• All assembly will be done using drawings and blueprints

• Hand and pneumatic power tool utilization will be required

• Required lifting is roughly 50 pounds – some heavier stuff that would be a team lift

• Some motor testing and some wiring (not live wirings)

• Everyday will be different than the day before and there will be a huge learning curve – about 6 months

Great Candidates:

• Willing to read blueprints/work prints the entire shift

• Good with every day being different than the day before

• Good with hand and power tools

• Possibly have an associates in automation – would be a solid avenue to progress

• They do not want to see assembly line people

Things to Note:

• They will be doing all mechanical assembly but can eventually progress to doing automation (1+ year down the road)

• Training will be roughly 6 months working alongside a supervisor or team lead

• It could be easy to get discouraged because there will be a ton thrown at them, so they likely won’t catch on until 6 months in
