SummaryThe ideal candidate would be located in TEXAS.The Regional Sales Manager is a function within Hexagon's Metrology Software organization responsible for the day-to-day management of the defined territory and the overall success of our Metrology Software group.The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving and exceeding revenue goals, and overall customer satisfaction. This position includes working with Development, Applications Engineering, Services and Order Entry to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.The Regional Sales Manager maintains a high standard and provides leadership in the areas of software product knowledge, demonstration capabilities, sales professionalism, and customer satisfaction.Job ResponsibilitiesMeet or exceed annual revenue targets for assigned territoryGenerate sales revenues by performing software demonstrations to existing and prospective customersWork with OEM and Reseller Channels to maximize sales and assist in software demonstrationsEvaluate customer needs and develop corresponding solutions across multiple aspects of the customer's requirementsIdentify additional sales opportunities outside of traditional channelsProvide accurate forecasts through ongoing opportunity management in Salesforce.comWork collaboratively with all available resources including Applications Engineers, Marketing, Inside Sales and others to identify, advance, and close salesProvide customer feedback to Development for new product innovations and product developmentAct as point of contact and provide support to customers before and after the saleEnsure the success of the end user/customer

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of proven field sales successPassion for a long-term career in technical salesAbility to work independentlyAbility to travel within the territoryBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent work experiencePrior software and/or technical solution sales experienceExperience with any 3D metrology software....Inspire SpatialAnalyzer, PC-DMISCompletion of formal sales training program(s) or course(s)Metrology industry and market experienceAffinity toward technology and ability to quickly understand and embrace advanced technologiesTeam focused, problem solver with a passion to make a difference
