Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Logistics Manager to join their team in downtown Houston, TX. This person will be responsible for leading logistics procurement strategies, identifying and developing strategic partner carriers, and driving the commercial strategy of the company. They will create a logistics network to ensure costs, footprints, services, and locations meet the companys strategic needs. Theyll develop and execute logistics contracting strategies for all scopes of logistics and after contracts are in place, maintain accountability for the contract and supplier management. This person will be responsible for tracking, reporting, and forecasting spend related to relevant categories, oversee complex category specific sourcing, and perform market analysis to articulate market trends that may impact stakeholders. Lastly, this person will develop a strategy to ensure access to materials and delivery of sand to frac locations for company operations.

Skills and Requirements
10-15 years of experience in logistics management
3 years of experience in international logistics for
EPC projects
Experience developing negotiation strategies and conducting supplier negotiations
Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related
Strong supply chain background interacting with internal and external customers and suppliers Experience procuring logistics services for Oil & Gas or EPC industry
Track record of strategic initiative development and management
Networking and communication skills null
