About The Role:
We are looking for a Global Operational Compliance Director for CBRE Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions, an exciting and growing environment. Contributors in this role report directly to a Global Senior Leader, overseeing team of highly skilled Operational Compliance Professionals.
What You'll Do:
Own the Global Operational Compliance Function.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft and implement controls and procedures promoting operational efficiency.
Maintain Operations Policies and Procedures such as SOC 1 control framework.
Lead SOC1 - Audit Coordination & Execution, Continuous Control Monitoring & Reporting.
Maintain the incident reporting protocol and ensures correct escalation protocols and reporting.
Lead the investigation of the root the cause of incidents and supervise the action plan implementation.
Coordinate new client onboarding Diagnostic/SOC1 Scope Review
Collaborate with Client Servicing and Tech teams to implement new tools and review and sign-off on new controls.
Coordinate custody audit.
Review and authorize changes in controls due to process improvement, and maintenance of the process maps and procedure documents.
Analyze incident data and provide insight to the business on failure patterns.
Promote internal control awareness.
Lead the effort to add new services to SOC 1 framework.
Collaborate with clients on Operational Compliance matters.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, and 15+ years of experience in Operational Compliance roles within finance services.
Robust experience with Real Estate Fund Administration and Investment Management would be an asset.
Extensive proven experience in a similar role with increasing responsibilities.
Proven track record to lead and develop teams effectively.
Familiarity with industry-specific methodologies.
Strong ability to communicate effectively to various collaborators.
Ability to develop a strong control framework aligned with business objectives.
