Being a Business Analyst within Data Risk Management, you will work with Data Risk Management team members, Data Stewardship Teams and other control functions across the organization to analyze and document business requirements (user stories) to enhance Data Risk tools in support of defined procedures and automation opportunities. Substantial growth opportunity with exposure to governance frameworks and collaboration between business and IT.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Support efforts in managing of scope and priorities for key documentation, communication, training, and business requirements in support of the Data Risk Management framework3-5 years of relevant experience in data management or data governanceProvide advice, guidance, and support to the first line of defense in their understanding and compliance with Data Risk Management Standards.Monitor issues and exceptions, advances as needed.Help facilitate, contribute, and participate in Governance, Risk and Compliance efforts, and partner with other Control Functions to align on all facets of inherent data risk and related standards and controls.Partner with other control functions to identify and assess key areas of data risk.Partner with industry leaders and associations to define data management and adopt/apply standard processes at DTCC;**NOTE: The responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher3-5 years relevant experience as a Data/Business AnalystMS Office proficiency is requiredExperience with any data governance tool a plusTalents Needed for Success:
Strong collaborative skills and a proven ability to work effectively individually and with team membersDetail oriented, organized, time management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills-
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Our Risk Management teams work to protect the safety and soundness of our systems and are responsible for identifying, managing, measuring and mitigating a spectrum of key risk types including credit, market, liquidity, systemic, operational and technology in all existing and new products, activities, processes and systems.
