Job Overview
The SAP Functional Analyst is responsible for Sales & Distribution functionality within SAP and associated applications and tools. They will gather business requirements and design, develop, implement, and support SAP (and related applications) process solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Provide business system analysis and process design expertise within the Order-to-Cash business functions, turning requirements into system solutions.
Perform SAP or other business application configuration as required to support functional requirements.
Manage and control implementation of changes without business interruption.
Participate and take a leading role including as a project manager if necessary within area of expertise of assigned SAP modules.
Managing tasks through all project lifecycle phases (Requirements Gathering and Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment and Support) for IT initiatives.
Develop detailed functional specifications and work closely with ABAP Developers or software solutions vendors as needed.
Work cohesively with Business Process Owners to ensure business process design and supporting SAP configuration and developments are in line with the business needs.
Document current configuration and maintain proper level of documentation for all changes including specifications and testing documentation.
Participating in testing activities including, but not limited to, creating test scenarios, cases and scripts, as well as executing unit testing, integration testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing.
Providing application maintenance and support by means of timely response to user issues and requests.
Create training materials and deliver training to business partners on new processes, functionality, reports and transactions.
Collaborating with other team members to design and deploy effective IT solutions
Ensuring stability and continuity in IT operations

Required Education and Experience
B.A./B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of IT experience in a corporate environment supporting SAP projects.
Expert knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution Quote-to-Cash
Expert knowledge in order types, item categories, pricing procedures, copy control, pricing conditions, pricing procedures, output determinations, delivery types, invoice types.
Strong SAP SD knowledge in quote to cash process including master data (materials, customers, pricing), Inquiry, quotations, order management, credit management, contract processing, agreement processing, delivery processing, picking and packing, billing, credit and rebill, SAP best practice scenarios, intercompany transfers.
SAP or other full lifecycle implementation.
Strong teamwork approach to problem solving with the ability to make sound, independent decisions based on functional expertise and experience.
Ability to provide leadership, support, communication and direction.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve beyond routine issues.
Preferred Education and Experience
In-depth understanding of SAP functional modules beyond SD
Knowledge of Transportation Planning
Experience with Oracle Transportation Management
Experience with CPQ systems
In-depth understanding of Deviated Pricing, billbacks and chargebacks
SAP S/4 HANA landscape upgrade experience
Business experience within a Food/Beverage Manufacturing and Distribution environment, highly desired
PMP certification
Working Conditions
• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
• Work is performed in an office setting.
