Overview
Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for a Tax Analyst to join the corporate team in our Raleigh, NC office. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities
Assist with federal, state, and international income tax planning projects
Research and resolve notices received from various taxing jurisdictions
Coordinate with and gather information requested for income tax audits
Prepare various year-end tax calculations and support for annual tax provision
Assist with monthly tax projections and perform corporate tax account reconciliations
Assist with the preparation of international tax filings
Prepare and remit estimated tax payments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA or CPA candidate
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent quantitative skills combined with an ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations
High degree of professionalism and the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization from new hires to senior executives
Exceptional client service mentality and strong work ethic
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements
Must be an excellent team player as well as work independently
Excellent organization, detail-orientation, and follow-through skills
