You will play a critical role in strategic decision-making and operations as you directly contribute to our company's financial success. This position involves overseeing our organization's financial operations and reporting on revenue, expenses, and business performance. You will also be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and risk management to ensure the financial stability and growth of our company.Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement financial strategies for the company, including long-term financial planning and forecasting.2. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.3. Implement and maintain all financial controls and systems within the business, identifying and recommending potential operational efficiencies and improvements to working practices and procedures.4. Oversee and manage company budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and cost management in all business operations.5. Lead the budgeting process, including the creation, management, and evaluation of the organization's budget.6. Work closely with executive management to shape the company's overall business strategy.7. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.8. Provide expert advice and analysis on the financial implications of business decisions and strategies.9. Manage risk and insurance related to the company's financial activities.10. Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior financial managerial position in the construction industry.3. Strong knowledge of construction accounting and Foundation Accounting Software4. Proficiency in strategic planning and execution, including the ability to interpret financial data and manage financial control systems.5. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations, as well as filing and compliance requirements.6. Proficient in using financial software and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.7. Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.8. Proven ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound management decisions based on financial analyses.
